We as YASED – International Investors Association, are aiming to activate a social responsibility project aimed at providing summer internship opportunities at our member companies for 200 university students, selected diligently from the Southeastern Anatolia region for a 1-month in 2009 summer period.

The project, prepared by a sub-committee working under YASED’s Employment and Education Working Group, aims to provide support to qualified and skilled students from the Southeastern Anatolia Region through a summer practice in member companies. Such an opportunity will allow students to learn the business manner of international companies in their head office or in different operation departments in Turkey and to enable students to make use of their experiences to the benefit of their home region or for their own personal development. The project will also provide and make it possible for our member companies, to get to know  the students of the region.

In this context, we kindly ask our members-who would like to contribute to the progress of the labour force in Turkey by participating to the project that will supply added value to one of the most important problems of Turkey;Employment and Education; by gathering experience to students and contributing training of qualified employees that the employers need - to fill the attached “Company Participation Commitment” form . May we inform you that we will contact the HR Managers of your company later on and we would be most pleased to have your support in this project, which we regard as an investment for  the future
